Our one-day events are a culmination of ideas and hard work from great young minds in our community. Our "KIDPRENEURS", ages 6-16, develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy, plan the cost of goods and pricing, and then open for customers at our fair. We invite the community to shop and support these creative and driven children as they learn beginning business strategies and experience the process of entrepreneurship.
Each fair includes a Business Competition portion where the Kidpreneurs can win awards and prizes! Local business owners volunteer to be judges and score each booth during the fair. When the shopping time at the fair concludes, we have an awards ceremony where each age group has a winner for "Best Presentation", “Most Creative Idea", and "Highest Business Potential".

Become a Kidpreneur
Whether your child has plans to be the world's youngest bazillionaire, or just wants to earn some extra spending money, they can be a business owner for a day at our kid-hosted marketplace.
Encourage your 6-16 year old kidpreneur to apply today! They will even have a chance to win awards and prizes during our business competition!
Please submit one application for each business. Children working as a group should submit one application that includes each child’s information. No more than 3 participants per business.
- Please submit one application for each business. (Children working as a group may submit one application with all children’s info.)
- Instead of an application fee at the time of submission, we will collect a $25 booth fee from all accepted businesses, which includes a designated area with a table and chairs at the event.
- Please note that you may help your child fill out the application, but depending on their age, they are expected to do as much as possible by themselves.

These talented kids have put in the work and are ready to sell their creations. Now WE NEED YOU, our community members to come support, encourage, and SHOP at the Children's Business Fair! They can only succeed if they have customers to sell to. This is a FREE and family-friendly event to attend. Please invite as many people as possible to join you and experience the next generation of entrepreneurs in action.

Why it’s important to introduce entrepreneurship to kids
Children are naturally creative and curious! We want to help embrace these essential traits and channel them into an entrepreneurial mindset that can help them develop skills such as:
A self-starting work ethic
Kids develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at our one-day marketplace. They plan and execute their own business at every level, which allows them to understand the importance of hard work, take responsibility, and gain confidence in the next challenge.
An improved love of learning
Our educational resources can teach children lessons about entrepreneurship and help them develop and grow their businesses at their own pace. We plan to offer in-person and online classes for Kidpreneurs to deepen their understanding and knowledge.
A growth mindset
A growth mindset allows kids to believe their abilities and skills can develop over time and lead to success. They will desire to keep learning, see challenges as opportunities for growth rather than permanent setbacks, and build resilience and resourcefulness when faced with a challenge.
Confidence and a feeling of accomplishment
When our Kidpreneurs execute their vision, plan, and sell their products/services at our business fairs, they will see how much money their hard work and dedication made them! They also receive encouragement and a sense of accomplishment by practicing effective face-to-face communication with customers and community members in a supportive, fun, and safe environment.
